Job summary

SHINGDA CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Training Specialist to deliver CoreTrade and SEC(K) courses via Zoom and hands-on sessions. You will design curricula, maintain a safe training environment, and ensure high standards of learning outcomes.

You will manage training equipment stock, audit-ready documentation, and support the Training Manager with ad-hoc tasks. A minimum of 4 years in construction and SEC(K) certification are required; TA/ACTA qualifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in the construction industry.
• SEC(K) certification by BCA is required.
• TAE qualifications (TAE, ACLP or ACTA) are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct training for CoreTrade and SEC(K) courses through online Zoom sessions and practical hands-on lessons.
• Design, develop, and review curricula and course materials to align with objectives and learning outcomes.
• Maintain a safe and clean training environment (classrooms, training/test bays, workshop, office and store).
• Maintain functionality and stock control for training equipment, devices, utilities, materials, etc.
• Maintain a high CoreTrade test passing rate of 90%.
• Keep proper training/test documentation for auditing.

• Design, develop, and review curricula and course materials to ensure alignment with organisational objectives and learning outcomes.


• Maintain safe and clean training environment (Classrooms, training/test bays, workshop, office and store).


• Maintain functionality and control stock for training equipment, devices, utilities, materials and etc.


• Maintain high CoreTrade test passing rate of 90%.


• Maintain proper training/test documentation for auditing.


• Carry out ad‑hoc work and complete tasks given by the Training Manager.

Requirements:

1. At least 4 years of working experience in Construction industry.


2. Possess a SEC(K) cert by BCA.


3. Holding WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP), WSQ Advance certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) or equivalent Training and Adult Education (TAE) qualifications will be an added advantage.
