Job summary

UOB Kay Hian Private Limited in Singapore offers a hands-on training program in private wealth management. You will participate in client onboarding, account maintenance, and learn about investing and asset classes through structured training.

You’ll gain exposure to financial products including bonds, funds, structured products and OTC derivatives while developing product management and client engagement skills.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma holder with relevant finance exposure.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Fluency in English and Chinese required for client interactions.

Responsibilities

• Complete training modules on investing and financial products.
• Assist Sales with client inquiries, account opening and documentation.
• Support Product team with product design, pricing, lifecycle, and due diligence.
• Participate in ad-hoc Projects.

Job scope:

• Immerse in hands-on experience in private wealth management
• Client onboarding and account maintenance
• Learn about investing and asset classes via comprehensive training programs
• Specialize in financial products including bonds, funds, structured products and OTC derivatives
• Become proficient in product management and client engagement

Responsibilities:

• Complete training modules on investing and financial products
• Support Sales on day-to-day tasks including; Client enquires, Account opeing and review, Complete relevant documentation requirements, Pre-Trade, Trade and Post-Trade process, Complete relevant documentation requirements
• Support the Products team on day-to-day engagement and operation including; product design and pricing,product lifecycle management, product performance and portfolio review, product due diligence (back up)
• Participate in Products team ad-hoc projects

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma holder
• Major in Finance, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or Accounting is a plus
• 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• A passion for financial markets, investment strategies, and client service
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is required for effective communication with clients
