CLI holds stakes in eight listed real estate investment trusts and a suite of private real asset vehicles investing across demographics, disruption, and digitalisation-themed strategies, spanning retail, office, lodging, industrial, logistics, business parks, wellness, self-storage, data centres, and private credit.
CLI is seeking a high-performing Associate to support capital raising and investor engagement within its Private Capital Market team. The role centers on market intelligence, investor coverage, and execution support across fundraising activities, offering exposure to institutional investors, private equity real estate (PERE) markets, and global fundraising processes.
Responsibilities include market intelligence and research, conducting targeted research on prospective institutional investors, including their mandates, allocation strategies, and decision-making structures, and monitoring and synthesising PERE market trends, fundraising benchmarks, and competitor fund activity to inform fundraising strategy and senior management discussions. On the capital raising and investor support side, the Associate will track and manage execution of NDAs with prospective investors, support preparation of marketing collateral such as pitch decks and one-pagers, assist in responding to investor due diligence requests (DDQs, RFIs), and prepare investor meeting briefs and roadshow materials for senior capital raisers. The role also covers CRM and reporting duties: maintaining and updating the investor CRM database, generating periodic pipeline and activity reports, maintaining fundraising trackers and dashboards, and supporting updates for senior management and board-level reporting.
Candidates should hold a degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Real Estate, or a related discipline, with 2-5 years of relevant experience in private capital markets, investment management, corporate finance, or investor relations. Familiarity with private equity, real assets, or PERE markets is preferred. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical, research, and presentation skills with high attention to detail, is proactive and organised with the ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight timelines, and communicates effectively across cross-functional teams.
This is a full-time role based in Singapore offering exposure to institutional capital raising for one of Asia's largest real asset managers.
