Job summary

CapitaLand Fund Management Pte. Ltd. seeks an Associate to support capital raising and investor engagement within the Private Capital Market team. The role covers market intelligence, investor coverage, and execution support across fundraising activities.

You will gain exposure to institutional investors, private equity real estate markets, and global fundraising processes, working with cross-functional teams to drive outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Real Estate or related discipline.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in private capital markets, investment management, corporate finance, or investor relations.
  • Familiarity with private equity / real assets / PERE markets preferred.
  • Strong analytical, research and presentation skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple workstreams under tight timelines.
  • Effective communicator with ability to work across cross-functional teams.

Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a high-performing Associate to support capital raising and investor engagement efforts within the Private Capital Market team. The role focuses on market intelligence, investor coverage, and execution support across fundraising activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to gain exposure to institutional investors, private equity real estate (PERE) markets, and global fundraising processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • 1. Market Intelligence & Research Conduct targeted research on prospective institutional investors, including mandates, allocation strategies, and decision-making structures Monitor and synthesise PERE market trends, fundraising benchmarks, and competitor fund activities Distil insights into actionable outputs to support fundraising strategy and senior management discussions
  • 2. Capital Raising & Investor Support Track and manage execution of NDAs with prospective investors Support preparation of marketing collateral (e.g. pitch decks, one-pagers) as required Assist in responding to investor due diligence requests (DDQs, RFIs) with accuracy and timeliness Prepare investor meeting briefs and roadshow materials for senior capital raisers
  • 3. CRM & Reporting Maintain and update investor CRM database, including contacts, interactions, and meeting notes Generate periodic pipeline/activity reports for internal tracking and management review Maintain fundraising trackers and reporting dashboards across fund opportunities Support preparation of updates for senior management and board-level reporting
Requirements
  • Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Real Estate or related discipline
