Job summary

CapitaLand Investment Limited (CLI) is seeking an Associate to support capital raising and investor engagement within the Private Capital Market team. The role focuses on market intelligence, investor coverage, and execution support across fundraising activities, including exposure to institutional investors, PERE markets, and global fundraising processes.

You will conduct market research, manage NDAs, help prepare collateral, respond to due diligence requests, and maintain investor CRM

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Real Estate or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in private capital markets, investment management, corporate finance, or investor relations.
• Familiarity with private equity / real assets / PERE markets preferred.
• Strong analytical, research and presentation skills with high attention to detail.
• Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple workstreams under tight timelines.
• Effective communicator with ability to work across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Market Intelligence & Research: Conduct targeted research on prospective institutional investors, including mandates, allocation strategies, and decision-making structures.
• Capital Raising & Investor Support: Track and manage execution of NDAs with prospective investors; assist in preparing marketing collateral and responses to DDQs/RFIs; prepare investor meeting briefs.
• CRM & Reporting: Maintain investor CRM, generate pipeline and activity reports, and support fundraising dashboards and board-level updates.

Role Overview

We are seeking a high-performing Associate to support capital raising and investor engagement efforts within the Private Capital Market team. The role focuses on market intelligence, investor coverage, and execution support across fundraising activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to gain exposure to institutional investors, private equity real estate (PERE) markets, and global fundraising processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market Intelligence & Research

• Conduct targeted research on prospective institutional investors, including mandates, allocation strategies, and decision-making structures

• Monitor and synthesise PERE market trends, fundraising benchmarks, and competitor fund activities

• Distil insights into actionable outputs to support fundraising strategy and senior management discussions

2. Capital Raising & Investor Support

• Track and manage execution of NDAs with prospective investors

• Support preparation of marketing collateral (e.g. pitch decks, one-pagers) as required

• Assist in responding to investor due diligence requests (DDQs, RFIs) with accuracy and timeliness

• Prepare investor meeting briefs and roadshow materials for senior capital raisers

3. CRM & Reporting

• Maintain and update investor CRM database, including contacts, interactions, and meeting notes

• Generate periodic pipeline/activity reports for internal tracking and management review

• Maintain fundraising trackers and reporting dashboards across fund opportunities

• Support preparation of updates for senior management and board-level reporting

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Real Estate or related discipline

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in private capital markets, investment management, corporate finance, or investor relations

• Familiarity with private equity / real assets / PERE markets preferred

• Strong analytical, research and presentation skills with high attention to detail
