Job summary

TUV SUD PSB PTE. LTD. is seeking a laboratory professional to support fire testing projects in Singapore. You will set up test specimens, instruments, and procedures, monitor tests, collect data, and assist in report preparation while maintaining ISO/IEC 17025 compliance.

The role emphasizes meticulous, hands-on lab work, safety, and collaboration with customers and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery and continuous improvement of lab processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum Nitec or Higher Nitec in Engineering, Fire Safety, Materials Science, or related discipline.
• Experience in laboratory, testing, inspection, or engineering environments is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and execution of fire testing projects per standards and lab procedures.
• Set up test specimens, equipment, and instrumentation for testing activities.
• Monitor tests, collect data, and help prepare test reports and documentation.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure ISO/IEC 17025 compliance.
• Coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders to support project delivery.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the lab.
