Job summary

Markono Group Pte. Ltd. is seeking a facilities maintenance professional to oversee routine inspections, servicing, and minor repairs of electrical, mechanical installations, and building systems at our Singapore facilities.

You will coordinate external contractors for major works, ensure timely completion, and maintain compliance with Quality Management, CoC, and EH&S policies. Basic computer literacy and 3–4 years' experience are required.

Qualifications

• ITE Higher Nitec/Nitec in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• 3 to 4 years of working experience in Engineering and Facilities management.
• Basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections, servicing and minor repairs of electrical and mechanical installations, building facilities, air-conditioning, plumbing and sanitary systems, machinery and equipment.
• Coordinate and attend to external contractors carrying out major repairs, installations and preventive maintenance works, and provide technical assistance where required.
• Monitor and ensure contractors complete assigned works in accordance with requirements, quality standards and agreed timelines.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with applicable requirements of the Quality Management System, FSC Chain of Custody (CoC) Management System, Environmental, Health & Safety Management System and other relevant management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilities and Building Maintenance

• Conduct routine inspections, servicing and minor repairs of the company’s electrical and mechanical installations, building facilities, air-conditioning, plumbing and sanitary systems, machinery and equipment

• Conduct inspections and minor building-related repairs, including floor demarcation, patching, partition works and other general maintenance

• Attend to user complaints and maintenance requests and carry out appropriate minor repairs or corrective actions

• Manage lighting replacement and maintain records of lighting maintenance activities

Contractor and External Services

• Coordinate and attend to external contractors carrying out major repairs, installations and preventive maintenance works, and provide technical assistance where required

• Monitor and ensure contractors complete assigned works in accordance with requirements, quality standards and agreed timelines

• Support building and facilities-related contractual services, including pest control, lift servicing, landscaping and other contracted services

• Assist external contractors with preventive maintenance of critical facilities and systems, including cooling towers, air compressors and fire alarm systems

Compliance and Other Responsibilities

• Ensure maintenance activities comply with applicable requirements of the Quality Management System, FSC Chain of Custody (CoC) Management System, Environmental, Health & Safety Management System and other relevant management systems

• Maintain appropriate records of maintenance, inspections, repairs and contractor activities as required

• Perform other maintenance and facilities-related duties as assigned by Management

Requirements:

• ITE Higher Nitec/Nitec in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering

• 3 to 4 years of working experience in Engineering and Facilities management

• Basic computer literacy
