Job summary

Markono Group Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Technician, Equipment Maintenance to inspect, maintain and repair a wide range of industrial equipment across our production facilities in the Pioneer West region, Singapore.

This full-time role emphasizes preventing downtime and ensuring smooth manufacturing processes with a focus on safety and accuracy. The ideal candidate has an ITE Higher/Nitec or equivalent certification in mechanical or electrical engineering, and at least 2 years of maintenance

Qualifications

• ITE Higher Nitec/Nitec or relevant certification in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience as a technician or maintenance specialist in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; ability to think critically and find effective solutions.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of work.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance on production equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment, and carry out necessary repairs in a timely manner.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Collaborate with the production team to minimise downtime and maximise equipment uptime.
• Assist in monitoring and ensuring that repair works done by machine vendors and contractors are completed in a timely manner.
• Assist in monitoring the availability of spare parts and accessories inventories.
• Explore ways to implement cost effective measures in spare parts sourcing.
• To comply with the requirement set in Quality Management System; FSC COC Management System; Environmental, Health & Safety Management System, and any other management systems deem related to this industry. Assist in repair works of plant, equipment

About the Role

As a Technician, Equipment Maintenance at Markono Group Pte.
