Great Eastern in Singapore is seeking a hands-on professional to assist in developing General Insurance through Banking partnerships and direct-bank clients.

You will support relationship management, marketing campaigns, and underwriting activities, with 1–3 years of relevant experience and a Diploma or professional insurance qualification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain excellent rapport with the Bank and direct clients at various levels to optimize opportunities.
• Assist in developing business plans and campaigns with the Bank.
• Plan and implement marketing campaigns with timelines for acquisition and upsell.
• Underwrite general insurance commercial line products within authorized limits.

Job description

To assist in developing General Insurance through Business Banking partner and Direct Bank clients.

Relationship Management

• Assist in developing business plan with the Bank - Maintain excellent rapport with the Bank and direct clients at various levels - Effective management of Business Units and clients assigned with the objective of optimizing business opportunities and securing long term partnership with them

Strategic Marketing

• Assist in planning and developing marketing campaigns and strategies with the Bank to ensure various key performance indicators are met
• Assist in planning of campaigns, including timelines for sequence launch of Acquisition (Cross sell) and Customer Management (Up-sell) campaigns based on Product Sequencing and bank's Customer Life Cycle

Campaign Management

• Support all internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely implementation of marketing campaigns and achieve sales targets through effective acquisition, customer management and conservation activities with control budget
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to obtain all necessary clearance and approvals
• Involve in special projects and any duties as assigned

Underwriting

• Assist to achieve profitable portfolio with desired loss ratio
• Underwrite general insurance commercial line products
• Provide quotation for new business within authorised underwriting limits
