Job summary

GIENTECH SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks an Associate Test Engineer to provide SQA services in the BFSI domain, focusing on building and maintaining automated frameworks for end-to-end regression testing.

Qualifications

Job description

Job Scope Overview:

We are seeking for an Associate Test Engineer who specializes in providing SQA (software quality assurance) services in the BFSI (banking, finance, securities and insurance) domain to join our team. The role requires software testing practice knowledge, particularly in supporting the implementation and maintenance of automated framework for end-to-end functional regression testing cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Primarily responsible for maintaining the automated frameworks in support of functional regression testing, using script or model-based approaches with a high degree of reusability, leveraging on enterprise or open-source tool-suites, APIs (application programming interfaces), SDKs (software development kits), function libraries (DLLs) and any associated utilities.
• Work with client-side stakeholders including Developers and Business Analysts to clarify and establish expected application workflows and associated behaviours, technical dependencies and configurations, to facilitate test automation.
• Work with test design team to obtain domain knowledge transfer, and test cases selection to establish the baseline automated functional regression test suite to provision the required test coverage and productivity, and also support automating the test data preparation.
• Assist test team leader on velocity estimation required for test automation related activities based on assigned or additional scope, by providing relevant input, comprising application workflow of various complexity levels, in support of service delivery.

Experience, Qualifications and Requirements:

• Post intern, fresh graduate or junior automation test enfineer in providing SQA in the BFSI industry, holding respective test automation roles in support of functional regression testing, involving framework design implementation, and maintenance
• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. Equivalent qualifications with relevant hands-on experience in software testing or test automation may also be considered.
• Related knowledge: Java & Python experience. Jmeter, Loadrunner, Playwright. Copilot is good to have.
• Passionate in technologies, receptive and keenness in learning, meticulous, analytical and competent in problem-solving, with good interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent in English language, including for both written and verbal communications. Possess clear thought process and able to articulate clearly.
