Job summary

RIDIK Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer to design, develop and maintain automated test suites for web, mobile, API, and Windows native apps within financial services platforms.

You will build and enhance automation with Micro Focus UFT, Playwright, Appium and Selenium, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, analyze results, and contribute to reusable frameworks while ensuring high quality releases in a regulated industry.

Qualifications

• 4-5+ years hands-on experience in test automation in financial services or banking.
• Expertise with Micro Focus UFT, Selenium, Appium and Playwright for web, mobile, API, and Windows apps.
• Proficient in Python or Java.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Strong API testing knowledge.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites and frameworks covering web, mobile, API, and Windows native applications for financial services platforms.
• Build and enhance test automation suites using Micro Focus UFT, Playwright, Appium and Selenium to ensure comprehensive functional, regression, and integration test coverage.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, enabling continuous testing and faster, more reliable release cycles.
• Analyse test execution results, identify defects, and work closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues within financial applications.
• Develop reusable, scalable automation frameworks and libraries to reduce manual testing effort and increase overall test coverage.
• Write clean, maintainable automation code using Java, Python, VB or Type , following established coding standards and best practices.
• Participate in test planning, test case design, and risk‑based test prioritization for critical financial industry applications.
• Continuously evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and process improvements to increase automation efficiency and quality.

Required Qualifications

• 4-5+ years of hands‑on experience in test automation, with proven experience in the financial services or banking industry.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in Micro Focus UFT, Selenium, Appium and Playwright for automating web, mobile, API, and Windows native applications.
• Coding proficiency in at least one of Python, or Type .
• Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts, with experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins or GitLab CI or GitHub Actions).
• Solid understanding of API testing methodologies and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify, isolate, and clearly report defects.
• Bachelor's degree (BS) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
