Job summary

Olam Agri is expanding its team and seeking a high-potential MBA professional to support transformation and performance improvement across Trading Operations in Asia. The role offers broad exposure to the end-to-end commodity trading value chain, including trade execution, supply chain coordination, risk monitoring, and operating model enhancements.

You will lead analytics, dashboards, and governance reporting while collaborating with regional stakeholders to drive execution of key priorities

Qualifications

• MBA graduate with strong analytical, problem-solving, and execution capabilities.
• Exposure to commodities, trading, supply chain, logistics, or commercial operations is preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams and geographies.
• High ownership mindset, learning agility, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Excel and Power BI; Mandarin language knowledge is mandatory.

Responsibilities

The role offers broad exposure to the end-to-end commodity trading value chain, including trade execution, supply chain coordination, risk monitoring, commercial performance tracking, and operational excellence initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor strategic transformation and operational improvement initiatives across trading operations.
• Support the optimization of trade execution processes, ensuring seamless coordination between trading, logistics, finance, risk, and supply chain teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, controls, transparency, and scalability across operational workflows.
• Work closely with the Business Head and regional stakeholders to drive execution of key priorities and business objectives.
• Analyze trading, logistics, and operational data to generate insights and support decision-making.
• Develop dashboards, governance reports, KPI scorecards, and progress trackers to monitor performance.
• Track Asia Trading P&L, perform variance analysis, and highlight key business drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Participate in projects related to digitalization, process automation, data analytics, and operating model enhancement.
• Support cross-functional initiatives involving sourcing, contract execution, inventory management, shipping, and customer fulfillment.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks and implementing sustainable solutions across the trading value chain.
