Job summary

GLOBALFOUNDRIES Singapore invites a Diploma holder to join our wafer fabrication team as a process engineer. You will develop and modify process formulations, methods and controls to meet quality standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve production goals.

Candidates should have 2 years in electronics production, be able to work a 12-hour rotating shift, and be MS Office literate with SPC knowledge.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 2 years of experience in electronic production environment preferred (wafer fab).
• Must be able to work a 12-hour rotating shift.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic process knowledge expected.
• SPC knowledge beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develops and modifies process formulations, methods and controls to meet quality standards.
• Typically performs one or more of the following: create, analyze and review technical charts.
• Establish SOPs and FMEA for related processes.
• Review product development requirements for compatibility with processing methods to determine costs and schedules.
• Integrate equipment and material capabilities to meet process specifications.
• Drive CIP to improve process performance indices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.

Job Responsibilities

• Review product development requirements for compatibility with processing methods to determine costs and schedules
• Integrates equipment and material capabilities to meet process module and technology specifications
• Drive CIP (Continuous improvement plans) to improve process performance indices
• Work with cross functions teams to deliver organizational goals

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years working experience in electronic production environment - preferably from wafer fab and, with basic equipment & process knowledge and with an eye for detail.
• Must be able to work on 12 hours rotating shift.
