Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Singapore seeks a skilledProcess Engineer to develop, sustain, and optimize semiconductor processes. You will lead Engineers and Associates, guiding process integration and improvement programs that boost quality, efficiency and throughput across multiple projects.

The role requires strong communication, collaboration across diverse teams, and proven experience in electrical/chemical engineering related to advanced wafer technologies.

Qualifications

• BS degree or higher in engineering (Electrical/Chemical/Physics) or equivalent.
• Experience in semiconductor processing and integration is required.
• Strong communication and collaboration across cultures are essential.

Job Responsibilities

• To develop, sustain and improve process to meet technology development goals, as well as manage a group of Engineers and Associate Engineers, if necessary.
• Deep knowledge on multiple processes and good understanding on integration impact
• Establish plans and strategies to optimize process capability to meet operations requirements
• Initiate and drive projects to improve quality, cost and equipment throughput
• Start-up new processes which involve process characterization and development
• Facilitate continuous improvement programs to improve process capability
• Able to understand process road map, define and plan for the project systematically
• Work smoothly and suggest constructively to integration team on process integration
• Organize and provide training and guidance to Engineers and Associate Engineers to achieve maximum performance effectiveness
• Technical leadership in the group and be a coach to the Senior Engineers and Engineers

Other Responsibilities

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

Required Qualifications

• BS degree or Master's Degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Science, Solid State Physics or other relevant engineering physical science discipline is required
• Relevant working experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with different cultures.
