Job summary

United Overseas Bank Ltd (UOB) in Singapore seeks a seasoned candidate for end-to-end processing and settlement of Structured Notes, expanding coverage across securities operations including fixed income and equities.

You will support trade settlements, corporate actions, and UAT for new product initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, controls and KPIs. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.

Qualifications

• Degree in Banking, Finance, Business or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Structured Notes, Securities or Capital Markets Operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of automation tools is beneficial.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail and organisation.
• Able to work under pressure, manage priorities and meet SLAs.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Securities Operations and Structured Notes Issuance, this incumbent is responsible for the day-to-day processing and settlement of Structured Notes transactions while expanding coverage across Securities Operations, including Fixed Income and Equities products.

Requirements

• Experience in trade settlement, corporate actions or post-trade processing preferred.
• Exposure to Fixed Income and/or Equities Operations is advantageous.\
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of automation tools is beneficial.
• Able to withstand pressure and long hours.
• Ability to multitask, execute on priority and problem resolution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Positive, proactive and self-driven attitude.
• Able to work on Singapore Public Holidays when required.
