Job summary

PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering in Singapore seeks an Assistant Sales Manager to expand our corporate, MICE and leisure portfolios through proactive sales calls, site inspections and client engagements. You will drive revenue, manage key relationships and coordinate with Revenue Management to meet targeted goals.

The role requires a Diploma in hospitality management and 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in a luxury hotel.

Qualifications

• Solid negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to influence and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Team player who can work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Expand the Hotel’s Corporate/MICE and Leisure client base through sales solicitation and relationship-building.
• Set goals aligned with hotel strategies and determine action plans.
• Update action plans and financial objectives quarterly.
• Analyse markets/trends to increase revenue and optimise guestroom rate.
• Solicit new business to broaden client base.
• Conduct daily sales calls, site inspections and entertainments to strengthen client ties.
• Provide after-sales service and address guest feedback with relevant departments.
• Respond to leads within 24 hours and maintain multiple client contacts.
• Collaborate with sales team and revenue management on rate negotiations.
• Attend tradeshows and major events as directed.
