Job summary

Luxury Careers Pte Ltd is seeking a seasoned Training Manager to drive regional retail training initiatives across Asia Pacific. You will develop and implement learning strategies, align with global guidelines, and partner with HQ and local markets to enhance onboarding, service standards and product knowledge.

You will design materials, deliver classroom and store-based coaching, and monitor outcomes to continuously improve learning impact.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant training experience in luxury retail or premium consumer environment.
• Strong PM, presentation and facilitation skills; digital learning content creation a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across multiple markets.
• English required; Mandarin and/or Cantonese a plus.
• Willingness to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of regional training strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Partner with global HQ and regional stakeholders to roll out onboarding, service excellence, product knowledge, store coaching.
• Assess training needs across Asian markets and develop learning solutions.
• Plan and coordinate training activities including scheduling and logistics.
• Collaborate with Sales, Merchandising, Marketing, CRM and Visual Merchandising on training programs.
• Develop materials, structured learning plans and development initiatives.
• Deliver classroom training, on-the-job coaching and store-based learning to improve selling techniques and service standards.
• Identify performance gaps via Mystery Shopper, NPS and other indicators; design improvement actions.
• Design and facilitate workshops and engagement initiatives to meet development needs.
• Conduct regular store visits to reinforce service standards and execution.
• Partner with Retail and HR leadership on talent development and succession planning.
• Monitor training effectiveness and refine content and delivery for higher engagement.

Job description

Reporting to the Retail Excellence, Operations and Performance Director, Asia Pacific, you will support the development and implementation of regional retail training initiatives to strengthen team capabilities, elevate service standards and drive overall business performance across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of regional training strategies and initiatives in alignment with business objectives and global guidelines.
• Partner with global headquarters and regional stakeholders to roll out training programmes covering onboarding, service excellence, product knowledge, store coaching and other learning initiatives.
• Assess the training needs of retail and office teams across different Asian markets and develop appropriate learning solutions.
• Plan and coordinate training activities, including scheduling, logistics, resources and programme arrangements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Sales, Merchandising, Marketing, CRM and Visual Merchandising to deliver relevant training programmes.
• Develop training materials, structured learning plans and development initiatives to strengthen employee capabilities and nurture future talent.
• Deliver classroom training, on-the-job coaching and store-based learning to enhance selling techniques, client experience and service standards.
• Partner with retail leadership to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities through Mystery Shopper results, NPS feedback and other performance indicators.
• Design and facilitate workshops, learning activities and engagement initiatives to address identified development needs.
• Conduct regular store visits to provide practical coaching, reinforce service standards and support consistent execution across markets.
• Work closely with Retail and HR leadership on talent development and succession planning, with a focus on building the capabilities of high-potential employees.
• Monitor training effectiveness by reviewing programme outcomes, gathering feedback and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Refine training content and delivery approaches to improve learning engagement and effectiveness.
• Support the regional rollout of key learning initiatives by guiding local market trainers and experts, including train-the-trainer sessions and follow-up evaluations.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant training experience, preferably within luxury retail, fashion or a premium consumer-facing environment.
• Strong project management, presentation and facilitation skills. Experience in digital learning content creation would be an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across different levels and markets.
• Good command of English; proficiency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese would be an advantage.
• Proactive, self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong focus on customer experience and continuous improvement.
• Willingness to travel across regional markets as required.
