Job summary

TianTianHainanese Chicken Rice is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support daily operations at its premium mall outlet in Jewel Changi Airport. You will work with the Restaurant Manager to sustain service standards, lead the front-of-house team, and ensure smooth guest experiences.

The role requires 3–5 years of supervisory F&B experience, with background in premium venues and strong leadership and communication skills. English proficiency and POS familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• Min 3 to 5 years of F&B supervisory experience.
• Prior experience in premium shopping malls, airports, hotels, or branded restaurant chains.
• Confident leading shifts and managing front‑of‑house operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, people management and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in English and comfortable interacting with local and international customers.
• Familiar with POS systems.
• WSQ Food Safety Level 1.

Responsibilities

• Lead Front of House operations during assigned shifts as Manager‑on‑Duty.
• Conduct pre‑shift briefings and ensure service readiness.
• Supervise service execution, cashiering accuracy, and guest flow.
• Handle guest feedback and service recovery independently when required.
• Guide and support service crew.
• Ensure adherence to grooming, punctuality, and SOP standards.
• Assist in onboarding and on‑the‑job coaching of new staff.
• Manage daily cash handling and shift reconciliation.
• Support inventory checks and stock receiving.
• Prepare shift handover notes and operational reports.
• Fully capable of running the outlet independently when required.
• Alternate opening and closing shifts with the Restaurant Manager.
• Ensure smooth operations during peak periods and late hours.
