Job summary

Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice at Jewel Changi Airport seeks an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support daily operations and assist the Restaurant Manager.

You will oversee FOH and BOH, supervise staff, ensure food and service quality, and drive guest satisfaction, cost control, and SOP adherence. Experience in high-volume outlets and airports is preferred; strong leadership and English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Hospitality, F&B Operations or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of supervisory or management experience in F&B.
• Experience in airports, established restaurant chains, or high-volume dining outlets.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in English and able to interact with local and international customers.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Familiar with POS systems and daily restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily outlet operations.
• Take charge of the restaurant in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.
• Supervise both FOH and BOH teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor service quality, food quality and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare staff schedules and manpower deployment plans.
• Train, coach and onboard new employees and part-timers.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs and food safety standards.
• Resolve customer complaints and operational issues promptly.
• Support outlet sales initiatives and promotional campaigns.
• Manpower Rostering & Cost Optimization: construct weekly and fortnightly rosters for full-time and part-time workers.
• Training & SOP Standardization: design and update SOPs for the service team.
• Service Recovery: handle floor escalations to resolve diner issues.
• Operational Asset Upkeep: monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock ordering.
