GYG in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead the team during busy service, partner with the Restaurant Manager and own the shift to keep service running smoothly. You will ensure food safety and quality, manage stock, costs and labour, monitor sales, support crew training, and handle customer feedback, with opportunities for rapid career growth.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a busy, high-volume hospitality or F&B environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Good understanding of food safety, quality and service standards.
• Experience with stock, wastage or cost control is an advantage.

Job Scope

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager at GYG , you'll play a key role in running the restaurant efficiently, leading the team through service and keeping our food, service and safety standards on point.

You'll work closely with the Restaurant Manager while taking ownership of the shift, especially when things get busy. From keeping service running smoothly to managing stock, costs and team performance, you'll be hands-on across the restaurant.

You'll be involved in:

• Leading and managing the team during shifts
• Supporting the Restaurant Manager with daily restaurant operations
• Ensuring all food is prepared and served according to GYG recipes and standards
• Keeping speed of service and customer service standards on track
• Maintaining food quality, food safety, cleanliness and restaurant standards
