Job summary

Hong Un Siong Engineering Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support QS, costing and project coordination on ongoing construction projects in Singapore. The role involves take-offs, claims, subcontractor claims, and working with the project team to keep costs aligned with budget.

You will assist in progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts, attend site meetings, and help ensure projects meet schedule, cost and contractual requirements. Based in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of quantity surveying, costing and claims.
• Experience in construction project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Assist in quantity take-off, cost estimation, quotations and tender preparation.
• Prepare and review progress claims, VO, subcontractor claims and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs, budgets and commercial matters.
• Assist with contract administration and project documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors and suppliers.
• Support project planning, progress monitoring and day-to-day management.
• Attend site meetings and follow up on outstanding matters.
• Assist Project Manager to meet schedule, cost and contractual requirements.
