Job summary

HUAKEONG Industries Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a diligent Junior Quantity Surveyor to support project teams from tender to final account. You will prepare progress claims, verify variations, and coordinate with main contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers.

You’ll maintain records, assist in meetings, and collaborate with your teammates to follow management directions while ensuring accuracy and timely submissions. English and Mandarin communication is required.

Qualifications

• Able to work under minimal supervision and be meticulous.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Pro-active, a good team player and able to work well under pressure.
• Candidate must possess Diploma/ Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or Building.
• Minimum 1 years of working experience in local Building industry.
• Good communication skills in English and Mandarin (to liaise with mandarin speaking associate).

Responsibilities

• Preparation and following up on progress claims, progress certification, variation orders and settlement of final account with main contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers
• Maintain records, tracking and submission of all variation orders
• Able to work closely with whole tender team and carry out management's direction
• Attend meetings/ site meetings
• Work closely with teammates
• Perform, any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
