Job summary

SING YIET CIVIL ENGINEERING CONTRACTOR PTE LTD is seeking a site coordination professional to assist the Project Manager in daily planning and execution on civil projects in Singapore. You will liaise with engineers, supervision teams, subcontractors, consultants and clients to keep projects on track.

The role focuses on monitoring progress, interpreting drawings, and ensuring works meet drawings, specifications and schedules while maintaining safety and quality standards on site.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline recognised by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB).
• Relevant civil/construction project experience preferred.
• Experience in sewerage, drainage or underground works is advantageous.
• Able to read and understand construction drawings.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Team player with ability to work independently and on site.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning and managing daily project activities.
• Coordinate with engineers, site supervisors, subcontractors, consultants and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor site progress and ensure works follow approved drawings, specs and schedule.
• Assist in managing sewerage and civil works including sewer pipe laying, manhole construction, excavation, backfilling and reinstatement.
• Review construction drawings and help resolve site/technical issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality.
• Assist in coordinating manpower, materials, equipment and subcontractors.
• Prepare project reports, site records, method statements and other documents.
• Ensure works comply with safety, quality and project requirements.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with clients, consultants and relevant parties.
• Assist PM in completing projects safely, on time and per requirements.
