Job summary

SING YIET CIVIL ENGINEERING CONTRACTOR PTE LTD is seeking a Civil Engineer to oversee technical management and coordination of civil and sewerage projects in Singapore. You will support project teams, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications and engineering standards.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings and method statements, resolving site issues, and coordinating with project managers, consultants and clients on technical matters.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline recognised by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB), Singapore.
• Experience in Civil Engineering / Construction.
• Experience in Sewerage, Drainage or Underground Works preferred.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Good technical, communication and coordination skills.
• Experience in Singapore sewerage / civil infrastructure projects is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate technical aspects of civil and sewerage works.
• Review engineering drawings, shop drawings, method statements and technical documents.
• Assist in resolving site technical issues and design clarifications.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Consultants, Subcontractors and Clients on technical matters.
• Provide technical support for sewer pipe laying, manhole construction, excavation, backfilling and road reinstatement works.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure works comply with approved drawings and requirements.
• Assist with RFI, technical submissions and project documentation.
• Ensure works meet relevant quality, safety and engineering standards.
