Job summary

Sing Yiet Civil Engineering Contractor Pte Ltd is seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to lead civil and sewerage projects from planning through completion. You will coordinate site activities, manage a direct workforce and ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and regulatory standards.

The role requires a degree in civil engineering, PEB familiarity, and at least two years of relevant experience, with strong planning, leadership and communication skills to drive timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
• PEB recognition advantageous.
• Proven ability to coordinate civil and sewerage works.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate civil engineering and sewerage projects from planning to completion.
• Resolve technical and non-technical issues arising during project execution.
• Track and monitor project activities, deliverables and milestones.
• Prepare and monitor submission of drawings, method statements and proposals.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specs and regulatory standards.
• Plan short- and medium-term site progress.
• Coordinate site activities including manpower, materials and equipment.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Drive project objectives in line with company goals.
• Monitor material usage to minimise waste and maximise efficiency.
• Manage direct workforce including deployment and overtime.
• Ensure works follow approved methods while maintaining cost and quality.
• Monitor progress and take corrective actions to meet cash-flow targets.
• Maintain site documentation and reporting.
• Support safe work practices and regulatory safety requirements.
