Job summary

SCIENTE is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in Singapore to lead the operation and maintenance of IT systems and ensure timely project delivery aligned with customer requirements.

The role covers governance, planning, execution, risk management, and proactive stakeholder communication. You will collaborate with Scrum Master, Technical Manager, and Solution Architect to deliver integration, deployment, and change management services for mission-critical IT environments.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in technical project management for applications, infrastructure and compliance.
• Strong understanding of application development, infrastructure, and IT security.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and standards relevant to operations.
• Experience managing complex technical projects from planning to delivery.
• Solid knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer and manage overall project governance.
• Establish and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and repositories.
• Manage project budget, costs, procurement activities, subcontractors, and resource allocation.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues; maintain risk and issue logs.
• Track project progress, SLAs, manpower effort, and budget performance.
• Prepare and present monthly progress reports, conduct review meetings, and deliver ad-hoc reports.
• Collaborate with Scrum Master, Technical Manager, and Solution Architect on delivery, integration, deployment, and change management.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
• Must have 3 years of experience in technical project management, focusing on applications, infrastructure, and compliance;
• Must have strong understanding of application development, infrastructure, and IT security;
• Strong knowledge of industry regulations and standards relevant to the organization's operations;
• Proven expertise in managing complex technical projects from planning to execution and delivery;
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices;
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex applications and solution architectures;
• Strong communicator with solid problem-solving abilities to manage technical challenges and ensure project success;
• Effective communication skills, strong interpersonal, leadership, and team management skills.
