Job summary

ho sin construction pte. ltd. is seeking a proactive Assistant Project Manager to support metal-works construction project delivery. You will collaborate with the Project Manager to plan, coordinate on-site activities and supervise site teams.

The role requires reading construction drawings, managing schedules, and ensuring safety, quality and budget compliance in a main contractor environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry with at least 3 years in a Main Contractor environment.
• Proven experience in metal works, including structural steel, architectural metal works and steel installations.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and shop drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Project Management software (e.g., MS Project).
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Prepare and update project schedules, work programmes, progress reports and site documentation.
