Job summary

Forefront Medical Technology in Singapore seeks a manufacturing leader to oversee daily operations across injection molding, extrusion, assembly and packaging, ensuring safety, quality and on-time output.

You will lead supervisors and technicians, plan production schedules and maintenance, enforce GMP/ GDP and ISO 13485 standards, resolve production issues, and drive continuous improvement and mold-trial activities.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or diploma required.
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing leadership in plastic injection molding within medical devices.
• Experience in Injection Molding, Extrusion, Assembly and Packaging.
• Bilingual in English and Chinese.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiar with QMS ISO 9001 or ISO 13485.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily manufacturing operations (injection molding, extrusion, assembly and packaging) and staff to meet safety, quality, and output targets.
• Lead supervisors, line leaders, technicians, and operators, and manage staffing and training.
• Plan, schedule and execute production activities and resources to fulfil customer order delivery on time.
• Schedule routine maintenance of mold tooling, production equipment, jig and fixtures to minimize downtime.
• Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, quality, GMP, GDP and regulatory standards.
• Work closely with project team in development of new products, processes and technology into mass production on time.
• Manage and resolve daily production issues related to processes, materials, machines, equipment and manpower to ensure continuous production operations.
• Manage operational expenses, and drive continuous improvement to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
• Support Mold Trial and validation activities

Job Requirement:

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering discipline - Engineering preferred
• 5 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role, specifically within plastic injection molding in medical device industry.
• Experience in Injection Molding, Extrusion, Assembly and Packaging
Bilingual in English and Chinese
• Good communication skills and team player
• QMS Requirements (ISO 9001 or ISO 13485)
