Job summary

Manfield Employment Services Pte Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented production planning assistant in Singapore to forecast and plan production, schedule orders, and coordinate with project leaders for timely delivery. You will manage material and BOM changes, confirm orders against capacity, and liaise with buyers to prevent excess stock.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years in supply chain or is a fresh graduate; you should be meticulous with strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in supply chain (preferred)
• Meticulous approach is required
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Forecast and plan production based on demand and available resources
• Schedule and release production orders accordingly
• Coordinate with project leaders, planners, and production supervisors on job prioritization based on delivery schedules
• Manage material and production planning, including material requisition and BOM/design change updates
• Confirm orders based on material availability and production capacity
• Coordinate with purchasers to ensure timely material delivery and prevent excess inventory
• Monitor material availability to ensure continuous production flow
• Report on E&O (Excess & Obsolete) and buy-down claims periodically
• Ensure timely closure of production orders for invoicing
