WECRUIT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented Production Planner to forecast, schedule, and coordinate production activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will work closely with project leaders and production teams to ensure on-time delivery and optimal inventory levels, with emphasis on data accuracy and timely reporting. Ideal candidates include fresh graduates with a Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain; training will be provided.

Responsabilités

• Forecast planning and schedule production orders based on customer demand and resources.
• Coordinate with Project Leaders, Planners and Production Supervisors to prioritise daily workflows.
• Oversee material requisition, maintain BOM, and manage design changes implementation.
• Validate and confirm orders based on material availability and capacity.
• Plan and coordinate with Purchasing to maintain optimal stock levels and avoid excess inventory.
• Monitor material availability to prevent production bottlenecks.
• Track and report on Excess & Obsolescence (E&O) and manage Buy-down claims.
• Ensure timely closure of completed production orders for invoicing.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports for management to support decision-making.

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planner to join our dynamic team. Operating within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will play a critical role in forecasting, scheduling, and coordinating production activities to align with demand and resource availability. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless production continuity, optimal inventory levels, and timely data reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Forecast & Scheduling: Conduct forecast planning and schedule production orders in accordance with customer demand and available resources.

• Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate directly with Project Leaders, Planners, and Production Supervisors to prioritize daily workflows based on delivery schedules.

• Material & Production Planning: Oversee material requisition, maintain the Bill of Materials (BOM), and manage the implementation of any design changes.

• Order Confirmation: Validate and confirm orders based on material availability and production capacity.

• Inventory Control: Plan and coordinate with the purchasing department on material deliveries to maintain optimal stock levels and avoid high inventory build-up.

• Production Continuity: Continuously monitor material availability to prevent production bottlenecks.

• Reporting & Claims: Periodically track and report on Excess & Obsolescence (E&O) and manage Buy-down claims.

• Order Closure: Ensure the timely closure of completed production orders to facilitate seamless financial invoicing.

• Data Analysis: Prepare and deliver ad-hoc reports for management, providing actionable data analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements

• Experience: Entry-level candidates and fresh graduates with Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain are highly encouraged to apply. Training will be provided.
