Job summary

CEVA Logistics, a world leader in third-party logistics, invites a results-driven supervisor to join the Contract Logistics team in Singapore. You will lead a team of logistics assistants and drive daily warehouse activities while meeting KPIs and ensuring safety and quality.

Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless throughput, train new staff, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S and LEAN within CEVA’s operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma with 2-3 years’ experience preferred.
• Working experiences with Warehouse Management System / SAP preferred. Experience in dealing with customers of all levels.
• Competent in MS Office Application.
• Meticulous and able to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of logistics assistants/team lead in daily warehouse activities.
• Lead the team in meeting KPIs and department goals.
• Ensure conformance to workplace safety and procedures.
• Work with customers and internal stakeholders for seamless throughput.
• Monitor staff performance and participate in annual appraisals; address performance issues.
• Train new logistics assistants.
• Handle ad-hoc logistics projects and initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to Code of Conduct and company regulations.
• Promote CEVA Values in daily work behaviors.
• Plan and monitor team performance with coaching and guidance as needed.
• Implement Lean initiatives like 5S and Kaizen to improve operations.

YOUR ROLE

The incumbent will be part of a larger team within the Contract Logistics department in providing seamless and customer-focused solutions to support the achievement of business objectives.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Key Operation Responsibilities

• To lead a team of logistics assistants/team lead in carrying daily warehouse activities
• To lead the team in meeting Key Performance Indicators and department operations goals
• To ensure conformance of workplace safety and operations procedures
• To work closely with customers and internal stakeholders in ensuring seamless customer throughput
• Monitor staff performance and participate in annual staff appraisal; address all employee performance problems promptly and directly in accordance with personnel policies of the company
• To train new logistics assistants
• To be able to handle ad-hoc logistics projects
• Ensure and monitor team compliance with the Company’s Code of Conduct and Company’s regulations
• Ensure team understanding and implementation on Company’s Value in daily work behaviors
• Plan and monitor team performance including giving coaching and counselling needed to deliver expected outcomes
• Implement work improvement initiative and programs such as 5S, Kaizens and LEAN with the goal of achieving Operational Excellence within the operations
• Inventory Management using internal WMS and Customer’s SAP system
• Adhere to relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WI).
• Maintain and ensure safe keeping and traceability of relevant customer’s document / records
• Capture and update on all KPIs measurement, orders management, and orders’ turnaround time metrics etc.
