Job summary

KIM PARADISE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Banquets & Events Manager to oversee all banquet and outdoor catering operations.

You will ensure smooth, efficient department performance, manage setup, serving and cleanup, and drive continuous improvements while coordinating manpower and maintaining strong supplier relations. The role requires strong leadership, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to handle multiple activities under pressure, including weekend and holiday work.

Qualifications

• Diploma in F&B Services Management, Hospitality, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in banquets/events.
• Willingness to work on weekends/public holidays.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-oriented mindset with analytical, problem-solving abilities.
• Good written and spoken communication; works well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage banquets and outdoor catering events to ensure smooth operations.
• Oversee all aspects of banquets/events including setup, serving, and cleanup.

RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS

• Manage all banquets and outdoor catering events.
• Responsible for the smooth and efficient operations of the department.
• Oversee all aspects of banquets and events including set-ups, serving and clean-up.
• Assist in the overall manpower planning for department and review their performance.
• Evaluate guest satisfaction levels with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Maintain good communication and work relationships with external customers and suppliers.
• Investigate and resolve complaints concerning food & service quality.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Diploma in F&B Services Management, Hospitality, or equivalent.
• At least 3-5 years of working experience in a similar capacity.
• Able to work on weekends & public holidays.
• Possess good leadership skills.
• Possess customer-oriented mindset and have an analytical mind and problem solving skills.
• Team player with good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Able to work well under pressure and to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
