Job summary

SINDA is seeking an Assistant Manager - Research (Contract) to manage the Research function, oversee end-to-end projects, and deliver insights for decision-makers. The role involves data collection, analysis, report writing, and stakeholder presentations to support SINDA’s priorities.

Responsibilities include leading impact assessment, methodological design, and communicating findings to diverse audiences, with availability for weekday evenings and occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, behavioural sciences, statistics, or related field.
• 4+ years in research, programme evaluation, or impact assessment.
• Strong data literacy and knowledge of descriptive/inferential statistics.
• Proficiency in SPSS, Tableau, Power BI and Excel; Python or R is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication and ability to engage diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end research and evaluation projects from design to insights.
• Develop and maintain impact assessment frameworks and KPIs.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and insights for senior management.
• Mentor and supervise research staff and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Engage stakeholders and contribute to strategic planning and dissemination.
