Job summary

CLA GLOBAL TS HOLDINGS PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced accounting professional to support engagement pitching and onboarding, manage outsourced client portfolios, and ensure accurate, timely deliverables.

You will liaise with clients on routine accounting, reporting, and payments, and prepare full sets of accounts and monthly management reports. The role involves coaching juniors and coordinating with auditors and tax agents.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy/Finance or related discipline required.
• Professional qualification such as CA Singapore, ACCA or CPA preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience in outsourced/accounting services.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Director and Associate Director in engagement pitching and client onboarding activities.
• Assist in managing a portfolio of outsourced accounting clients and ensure that client deliverables are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
• Serve as a key liaison with clients on routine accounting, reporting, payment processing, and operational matters.
• Prepare and review full sets of accounts, monthly management accounts, financial statements, schedules, and supporting reports.
• Review work prepared by associates and senior associates to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and client requirements.
• Guide and support junior team members through coaching, work allocation, review comments, and on-the-job training.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial teams, and other external stakeholders as required.
• Participate in ad hoc assignments, system implementation, automation initiatives, and internal improvement projects where required.
• Conduct training sessions for team members to enhance technical knowledge, service delivery standards, and accounting processes.

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as CA Singapore, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in outsourced accounting, client accounting services, or professional services.
• Experience in consolidation work, investment-related accounting work and fund administrative work will be advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of full-set accounting, month-end closing, financial reporting, and management reporting.
• Good understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and local statutory requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software, cloud-based platforms, and ERP software such as Xero, MYOB, or similar systems will be advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and client service skills.
• Meticulous, organised, accountable, and able to work independently in a deadline-driven environment.
