What you will be working on:

This role will be responsible for assisting in the Programming and Operations Planning for Team Volunteer Engagement and Partnership (VEP). Team Nila is a National Movement to inspiring the Singapore Spirit and Transform Singapore through Sport. Comprehensive strategic plans need to be developed in order to engage, enrich and empower Team Nila effectively to be the positive driving force in the community.

Role and Responsibilities

• Design, conceptualise and operationalise programmes so as to engage and empower volunteers to support national and local sports events; make plans to increase volunteers’ recruitment, opportunities, participation and contribution of individuals and partners in sport volunteerism.
• Work with volunteers, internal stakeholders, external stakeholders and partners that offer meaningful opportunities for volunteers to give back through sport.
• Work closely with Capabilities Development Team to curate intended experiences for volunteers through structured learning and development and a better match of opportunities to volunteer skill sets and interests.
• Assist in the mapping and understanding stakeholder’s landscape to develop effective engagement and partnership strategies to build a community of collaborative partners.
• Establish strategic and potential projects/programmes with other agencies and key partners through Team Nila’s 5 Giving Platforms.
• Work closely with Team Lead and Div Head to better manage and optimise allocated resources in reaching out to more Team Nila.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in volunteer management.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong analytical and conceptualisation abilities.
• Experience in planning and financial management.
• Able to shape behaviour and influence desired outcome.
• Able to lead and work well in teams, multi‑task and adapt to change.
• Able to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment, both in teams as well as independently.

Contract & Compensation

The level of offer will commensurate with applicants’ experience and track records. Successful candidates will be offered a 2/3‑year contract in the first instance.
