Resorts World at Sentosa Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced AV Systems Engineer to lead show system refurbishments, upgrades, and lifecycle maintenance across complex entertainment environments.
You will collaborate with Operations, IT, Facilities, Safety and Creative teams to design, install, test, commission, and support AVLC components, ensuring safety, reliability and high show quality.
Lead show system refurbishments, AVLC upgrades, asset replacements, and lifecycle maintenance projects, including scope development, feasibility studies, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, contract administration, and risk management.
Provide engineering support for audio, video, projection, lighting, media servers, show control systems, networking infrastructure, special effects, and related AVLC equipment.
Review technical designs, AV schematics, signal flow diagrams, lighting plots, network architectures, and specifications to ensure compliance with operational, maintenance, and show quality requirements.
Coordinate system integration, programming, testing, commissioning, FAT, SAT, cue-to-cue testing, and site acceptance activities.
Support diagnosis and resolution of hardware, software, networking, synchronization, media playback, and show system issues while ensuring reliability and performance.
Oversee system integrators, AV contractors, consultants, programmers, media specialists, OEMs, and vendors to ensure project quality, safety, and schedule compliance.
Ensure projects comply with Universal standards, ASTM, EN13814, BCA regulations, electrical safety requirements, and accepted engineering practices.
Maintain accurate project records, version control, backups, system configurations, commissioning documentation, and technical deliverables.
Work closely with Operations, Entertainment, Technical Services, Facilities, Safety, IT, Procurement, Creative teams, attraction manufacturers, and corporate engineering groups.
Drive improvements in show reliability, AVLC performance, maintainability, energy efficiency, system availability, engineering standards, and lifecycle costs.
Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Audio, Media Systems, Control & Automation, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
5-7 years of experience in AV systems, entertainment technology, show systems, theme parks, live entertainment, broadcasting, or related industries.
Minimum 2 years of project management, project engineering, or supervisory experience.
Strong knowledge of Professional audio systems, Video and projection systems, Show lighting systems, Media servers and show control systems and AV networking and integration technologies
Experience with system design, installation, integration, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
Ability to read AV schematics, electrical drawings, signal flow diagrams, network diagrams, and project documentation.
Knowledge of project planning, budgeting, contracts, risk management, networking, redundancy, cybersecurity awareness, and lifecycle management.
Strong project coordination, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in fast-paced operational environments and at heights within attraction facilities.
