Job summary

Raffles Medical Group Ltd. seeks an experienced Assistant Manager, IT Infrastructure Operations to lead day-to-day infrastructure delivery and operations.

You will work with infrastructure engineers, cybersecurity, DevOps and vendors to ensure reliable, secure and high-availability systems. The role emphasizes incident management, change processes and continuous improvement across cloud, networks and servers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant IT infrastructure operations experience in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Strong working knowledge of networking, servers, cloud infrastructure, identity management, Microsoft 365, backup/disaster recovery, monitoring and security controls.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and compliance-driven environments would be advantageous.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+/Security+, ITIL Foundation, Microsoft Azure, CCSP or GSEC would be advantageous.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and documentation skills.
• Good stakeholder and vendor management skills.
• May be required to travel regionally for project support.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of infrastructure services including servers, cloud platforms, networks, storage and related support services.
• Ensure infrastructure availability, performance, backup and recovery requirements are maintained within SLAs and KPIs.
• Lead incident and major incident resolution, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Manage incident, problem and change processes in accordance with ITIL best practices.
• Maintain infrastructure SOPs, runbooks, incident records and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with application, cybersecurity and DevOps teams on infrastructure implementations and changes.
• Manage vendor performance, escalations and service-level requirements.
• Identify recurring infrastructure issues and implement long-term improvements.
• Support automation, standardisation and Infrastructure as Code initiatives.
• Coordinate infrastructure migrations, platform upgrades and capacity planning.
• Recommend improvements to infrastructure availability, scalability and performance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to infrastructure engineers.
• Coordinate team workload, schedules and on-call arrangements.
• Support disaster recovery drills, business continuity exercises, audit and regulatory requirements.
• Escalate significant operational, technical and security risks to management and provide appropriate recommendations.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager, IT Infrastructure Operations to support the delivery and day-to-day management of our IT infrastructure services.

The role provides technical leadership and operational oversight across infrastructure services, ensuring systems and platforms remain reliable, secure and available within agreed service levels. You will work closely with infrastructure engineers, application teams, cybersecurity, DevOps, business stakeholders and external vendors.
