Job summary

Public Service Division in Singapore seeks an Assistant Manager for Business Planning & Development to plan adaptive reuse of state land, rejuvenate portfolio properties, and collaborate with agencies to shape strategic developments.

You will support leasing strategies, formulate retail concepts, prospect spaces, conduct viewings, monitor vacancies, and coordinate with agents to meet tenants' needs and drive footfall.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of retail and commercial leasing experience in a large mixed-use development or shopping mall.
• Good understanding of the retail industry and trends.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and meet timelines.
• Experience in managing advertising and promotions is a plus.

[What you will be working on]

• Plan and execute adaptive reuse of State land and properties before they are slated for long term developments.
• Rejuvenate portfolio properties by engaging market players to explore new uses.
• Work with other agencies and business partners for potential collaboration on strategic properties and projects.
• Specifically, support the division and appointed agents in the planning and implementation of leasing strategies and tenant mix for the properties under his/her portfolio.
• Assist to formulate and implement retail concepts and target prospective tenants.
• Assist in prospecting/leasing of spaces and conduct viewings of available space.
• Monitor current and future vacancies to ensure full occupancy of the development(s).
• Work with relevant divisions and appointed managing agent(s) to meet tenants’ needs and drive traffic to the development(s).

• Background in Real Estate, Urban Studies, Business, Marketing or other related disciplines.
• Minimally 2 to 5 years of retail and commercial leasing experience in a large mixed-use development or shopping mall.
• Good understanding of the retail industry and trends.
