Job summary

voco Orchard Singapore is looking for an Assistant Housekeeper who will work closely with the Executive Housekeeper to maintain high standards of cleanliness and guest comfort. You will coordinate shifts, supervise teams, and ensure safety procedures across the housekeeping department.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in a hotel setting, a Diploma in Hotel Management, and excellent English. Shifts include weekends and holidays, with opportunities for training and career growth within the IHG

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years working experience in a similar role within the hotel industry.
• Diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent.
• Able to converse in English; additional languages are advantageous.
• Capable of shifting work, including weekends and holidays.
• Experience with HubOS and Opera Property Management System is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Executive Housekeeper to ensure smooth housekeeping operations.
• Prepare work assignments for Housekeeping Attendants and conduct briefings.
• Lead, train, and supervise housekeeping staff and ensure safety standards.
• Respond to guest requests and complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Control expenses, monitor performance, and coordinate with other departments.
