Job summary

CONTAINERS PRINTERS PTE LTD in Singapore seeks an experienced finance leader to oversee compliance, planning and governance across the finance function, driving accuracy and timeliness of reporting. You will require a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, professional qualifications (ISCA/ACCA/CA), 8+ years in manufacturing finance, and ERP experience (SAP or Epicor).

Strong analytical, communication and leadership skills are essential to manage budgeting, forecasting, treasury, costing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as ISCA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore Companies Act, Financial Reporting Standards (FRS), GST regulations, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Hands-on experience with EDB reporting and GST filings, including Major Exporter Scheme compliance.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, treasury management, standard costing, and financial analysis.
• Proficient in ERP systems such as SAP, Epicor, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Singapore Companies Act, FRS and statutory requirements.
• Prepare and submit monthly and annual Survey of Manufacturing Activities reports to the Economic Development Board (EDB).
• Manage quarterly GST filings, including compliance with the Major Exporter Scheme.
• Coordinate annual statutory audits, tax submissions, and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and government authorities.
• Maintain strong governance and internal control frameworks to support regulatory compliance.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing timely insights and recommendations to management.
• Lead standard costing activities and monitor cost centre expenditures against budget.
• Conduct product costing and profitability analysis in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Financial & Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Singapore Companies Act, Financial Reporting Standards (FRS), and statutory requirements

• Support the Finance Manager in annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning

• Conduct product costing and profitability analysis in collaboration with cross-functional teams

Treasury & Working Capital Management

• Monitor cash flow forecasts and liquidity requirements
• Manage foreign exchange exposure and borrowing costs
• Optimize working capital through effective management of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory
• Review and approve payment vouchers while ensuring adherence to financial controls and company policies

Process Improvement & Digital Transformation

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance finance processes and operational efficiency
• Identify and implement ERP system enhancements, including SAP, Epicor, or other digital solutions
• Strengthen financial controls, policies, and reporting systems
• Explore government grants, Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), and cost-saving opportunities to support business growth

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Supervise, mentor, and develop finance team members
• Ensure accurate and timely management and financial reporting
• Establish and monitor departmental KPIs and service standards
• Collaborate closely with operations, procurement, sales, and other departments to support business objectives

Key Performance Indicators

• Timely and accurate monthly audit, tax, GST, and statutory submissions.
