Job summary

Randstad Singapore is assisting a client, an infrastructure investment platform focusing on sustainable energy assets, to hire an Assistant Finance Manager. You will oversee day‑to‑day accounting, drive group consolidations, and support FP&A while delivering actionable financial insights to leadership.

The role requires a Finance/Accounting degree with accreditation, hands‑on ERP experience (Dynamics 365 BC), and expertise in intercompany reconciliations, consolidation, and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance/Accounting, or related field with professional accreditation.
• Progressive accounting/finance experience including team leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience in capital-intensive sectors such as energy, manufacturing, or related industries.
• Hands-on proficiency with ERP systems, notably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Strong skills in group consolidation, intercompany reconciliations, and complex financial analysis.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with ability to translate data into insights.
• Proven track record of driving process improvement, workflow automation, and systems optimization.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, this role will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of day‑to‑day accounting operations, executing complex group consolidations, and supporting financial planning and analysis (FP&A) workflows. You will also collaborate closely with operational leaders to provide key financial insights that drive project profitability, manage compliance and tax requirements, and champion finance system optimization projects.

Skills and experience required

• Degree in Finance/Accounting, or related field with professional accreditation
• Relevant years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including team leadership or supervisory responsibilities
• Prior experience in capital‑intensive sectors such as energy, manufacturing, engineering, or related industrial sectors
• Hands‑on proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar modern ERP systems is highly advantageous
• Strong technical skills in group consolidation, intercompany reconciliations, and complex financial analysis
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate financial data into commercial insights
• Proven track record of driving process improvement, workflow automation, and systems optimization
