Job summary

Randstad Singapore is seeking an Accountant to lead full-set accounting, financial reporting, and compliance across the organization in Singapore. You will manage audit schedules, prepare management reports, budgets, forecasts, and ensure accurate financial statements and XBRL filings.

You will review invoices, process payments, and oversee intercompany billings. Cash flow monitoring, asset management, and adherence to internal controls are essential as the business scales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related equivalent field.
• Hands-on experience as an Accountant is required; manufacturing background is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and corporate taxation.
• Self-motivated, analytical, problem-solving, and able to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite and Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint).
• Meticulous attention to detail and ownership of task recording.

Responsibilities

• Manage full spectrum of financial operations, including full-set accounts, audit schedules, and reporting packages.
• Prepare management reports, budgets, and forecasts; ensure accurate annual financial statements and XBRL filings.
• Review invoices, process payments, and manage intercompany billings and reconciliations.
• Drive cash flow monitoring and prepare weekly cash reports; handle fixed asset additions, disposals, and depreciation.
• Maintain internal controls and align local processes with group standards.
• Prepare corporate tax and quarterly GST returns; liaise with external auditors and tax agents.

Your focus will be on preparing comprehensive management reports, budgets, and forecasts, while ensuring accurate annual financial statements and XBRL filings. By partnering closely with internal teams, you will actively review invoices, process payments, and manage intercompany billings and reconciliations. You will drive cash flow monitoring, maintaining daily cash flow and preparing weekly cash reports and handle fixed asset additions, disposals, and depreciation. You will ensure strict adherence to internal controls, aligning local financial processes with group standards. You will prepare corporate tax and quarterly GST returns, liaising directly with external auditors and tax agents.

Skills and experience required

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related equivalent field.
• Relevant hands-on experience as an Accountant. A background in the manufacturing industry is highly advantageous.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and corporate taxation.
• Highly motivated self-starter with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, capable of delivering results independently under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite accounting software will give you a significant edge, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong ownership of tasks to ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions.
