Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will manage accounting cycles, audit schedules, budgets, forecasts, cash flow, intercompany transactions, corporate tax, and GST returns while coordinating with auditors and tax agents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related equivalent field.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and corporate taxation.
• Highly motivated self-starter with analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, capable of delivering results independently under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite accounting software will give you a significant edge, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts, audit schedules, and reporting packages.
• Prepare management reports, budgets, and forecasts; ensure accurate annual financial statements and GST returns.
• Review invoices, process payments, and manage intercompany billings and reconciliations.
• Drive cash flow monitoring and prepare weekly cash reports; handle fixed assets additions, disposals, and depreciation.
• Ensure internal controls align local processes with group standards; liaise with auditors and tax agents.

We are seeking a dedicated Accountant to drive full-set accounting, financial reporting, and compliance across the organization. In this integral position, you will ensure robust financial health, streamline internal controls, and support strategic operational alignment as the business continues to scale.

About The Job

Reporting to the Finance manager, you will be managing the full spectrum of financial operations, taking charge of full set accounts, audit schedules, and reporting packages. Your focus will be on preparing comprehensive management reports, budgets, and forecasts, while ensuring accurate annual financial statements and XBRL filings. By partnering closely with internal teams, you will actively review invoices, process payments, and manage intercompany billings and reconciliations. You will drive cash flow monitoring, maintaining daily cash flow and preparing weekly cash reports and handle fixed asset additions, disposals, and depreciation. You will ensure strict adherence to internal controls, aligning local financial processes with group standards. You will prepare corporate tax and quarterly GST returns, liaising directly with external auditors and tax agents.

Skills And Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related equivalent field.
• Relevant hands-on experience as an Accountant. A background in the manufacturing industry is highly advantageous.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and corporate taxation.
• Highly motivated self-starter with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, capable of delivering results independently under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite accounting software will give you a significant edge, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong ownership of tasks to ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions.
