Job summary

EM Services Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Mechanical Building Services engineer to support project management of upgrades, replacements and improvements from planning through handover.

The role involves site inspections at residential blocks, verification of equipment deliveries, safety compliance by contractors, and assisting with progress payments and handover inspections.

Applicants should have a Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering and at least four years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 4 years relevant working experience in mechanical building services.
• Knowledge of Singapore building, fire-safety and Workplace Safety and Health requirements will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in managing mechanical upgrading, replacement and improvement projects from planning through completion and handover.
• Conduct regular inspections at residential blocks and other Town Council facilities.
• Verify mechanical equipment and materials delivered to site against approved submissions and specifications.
• Ensure contractors comply with applicable Workplace Safety and Health requirements and approved site safety procedures.
• Assist with measurement and verification of completed works for progress payment assessment.
• Conduct joint completion inspections with contractors and Town Council representatives.
• Other duties as assigned from time to time

Education

Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or equivalent

Job description
