Job summary

Thomson Medical Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Facilities Manager to supervise technicians and manage building maintenance and renovation works at TMC facilities.

You will lead day-to-day operations, coordinate with contractors and authorities, and drive preventive maintenance programs. The role requires a Diploma in Building Services/Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years in building facilities or M&E services, and a Fire Safety Manager Certificate is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in building facilities / M&E services.
• Possess Fire Safety Manager Certificate (preferred).
• Diploma in Building Services/Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of technicians on day-to-day operation and maintenance.
• Propose improvements, repairs and upgrading works when appropriate and ensure such are carried out properly when approved.
• Manage contractors and subcontractors to ensure services meet standards set by the Management or Authorities.
• Coordinate repairs and improvement works with contractors, consultants and relevant authorities.
• Provide technical support for specifications, inspections, testing and commissioning, and acceptance activities related to Building, M&E Services.
• Plan and implement Master cyclical and preventive maintenance programs, revision of procedures/checklists and documentation.
• Plan and oversee ad-hoc maintenance work, whether carried out by in-house technicians or contractors.
• Develop and review SOPs and Quality Procedures for the Maintenance department operations, processes as well as training and equipping staff to carry out their work correctly, safely and conscientiously.
• Ensure compliance with the Singapore Standards, Code of Practices, Hospital's ISO and any other Statutory Requirements and any other management system.
• Provide in-house consultancy services.
• Renew all licenses and certificates before their expiry.
• Ensure all the maintenance contracts are in place and renewed before the expiry date
• Assist to prepare the operational budget and Capex budget.
