Park Regis by Prince in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Duty Manager who is service‑oriented to support the Front Office and ensure a positive guest experience.
With 1–2 years in Front Office, Guest Services or hotel supervision, you will coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering and other departments to maintain smooth hotel operations.
We are looking for a service-oriented Assistant Duty Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our Front Office and ensure a positive experience for every guest.
This opportunity is suitable for candidates with at least 1–2 years of relevant Front Office, Guest Services or hotel supervisory experience who are ready to take the next step in their hospitality career.
You will support the Front Office team, handle guest matters, coordinate with different hotel departments and assist the Management team in ensuring smooth hotel operations.
Oversee daily Front Office operations and ensure smooth guest arrivals and departures.
Welcome and assist VIP guests, anticipate their needs and ensure a positive guest experience.
Inspect VIP arrival rooms and showrooms to ensure they meet hotel standards.
Coordinate group arrivals and departures.
Attend to guest requests, feedback and complaints professionally and provide timely solutions.
Maintain accurate incident and guest-related records for Management's attention.
Communicate with guests professionally via email and other appropriate channels.
Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Engineering, Security and other departments to resolve operational and guest-related matters.
Monitor ongoing room maintenance and servicing to ensure rooms are returned to inventory promptly.
Conduct regular hotel inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety and operational standards are maintained.
Be familiar with the hotel's fire, safety and emergency procedures and assist in managing incidents when required.
Support reception and lobby manpower planning, including shift and meal-break coordination.
Assist with shift briefings and communicate important operational updates to the Front Office team.
Support the coaching and development of team members and identify areas for service improvement.
Ensure hotel policies, procedures and service standards are consistently followed.
Recommend improvements to guest services, operational processes and revenue opportunities.
Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Rooms Division Manager.
At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in hotel Front Office, Guest Services or a similar hospitality environment.
Candidates with experience as a Front Office Supervisor, Guest Services Supervisor, Senior Guest Services Executive or similar position who are ready for their next career step are welcome to apply.
Good understanding of hotel Front Office operations and guest service standards.
Confident in handling guest enquiries, feedback and service recovery.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to coordinate effectively with Housekeeping, Engineering, Security and other hotel departments.
Good problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm when handling operational or guest issues.
Service-oriented, responsible and comfortable taking ownership of situations.
Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays according to hotel operational requirements.
Familiarity with hotel property management systems would be an advantage.
