Job summary

Ministry of Defence of Singapore is seeking a proactive procurement professional to lead end-to-end provisioning for DIS's Operation & Support (O&S) requirements. You will drive procurement strategies, manage requests, evaluations, orders, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effective, timely availability of equipment and services.

Responsibilities include governance, risk management, and standardising processes to comply with procurement rules while ensuring operational continuity.

Qualifications

• Education in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field is preferred.
• At least 3 years of work experience in supply chain Management, particularly in provisioning, is preferred.
• Proficiency in procurement systems and well-versed in procurement policies and processes.
• Keen eye for detail with the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Implement and drive DIS's provisioning strategies and processes, including procurement and overall performance of procurement activities.
• Streamline procurement processes for efficiency and better risk management.
• Manage DIS O&S provisioning and procurement processes, including raising purchase requests, performing evaluations, raising purchasing orders and monitoring contracting and delivery schedules.
• Develop, review, and ensure proper management of O&S provisioning processes within DIS.
• Maintain end-to-end governance and oversight to minimise related enterprise risks.
• Formulating strategies and maintaining comprehensive oversight of provisioning activities within DIS.
• Standardising unit processes to ensure strict compliance with procurement and governance rules while maintaining operational continuity.
