Job summary

Eastern General Hospital (EGH) seeks a dynamic Assistant Director, Operations to lead governance, data protection and readiness for opening. Reporting to the COO, you will coordinate with SingHealth Data Protection Office and external advisors to ensure compliance and organisational capability.

You will drive integrated workplans, monitor milestones, and manage cross-functional programmes, ensuring budget alignment and resource planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and related discipline required.
• Certifications in data protection, privacy, governance or PM considered an advantage.
• 10–12 years in relevant work, 4+ years in a managerial role.
• Knowledge of data protection, privacy compliance, governance and incident management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of operational readiness initiatives for EGH.
• Develop integrated workplans, milestones and timelines.
• Monitor deliverables, interdependencies, risks and issues.
• Strengthen governance, compliance and execution across operational workstreams.
• Oversee divisional administration, budgeting, workforce planning and analytics.
