Job summary

Singapore Health Services Pte Ltd (Eastern General Hospital) seeks a dynamic leader to head Operations as Assistant Director. Reporting to the COO, you will drive governance for data protection, operational readiness, and cross‑functional programme delivery, aligning stakeholders to readiness milestones and budgets.

You will coordinate risk, performance dashboards, manpower planning, and executive reports, ensuring discipline across divisions as EGH prepares for opening and service launch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Operations, Project Management or a relevant discipline.
• Relevant certification or training in data protection, privacy governance or project management is an advantage.
• Minimum 10–12 years of work experience, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.
• Knowledge in data protection, privacy compliance, governance and incident management.
• Strong project management skills: milestones, dependencies, risk tracking and dashboards.
• Experience in budgeting, manpower planning and clear, data-driven recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentations and stakeholder management.
• Discreet handling of confidential information; adaptable with continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of operational readiness initiatives with integrated workplans and milestones.
• Strengthen governance, compliance and execution discipline across critical workstreams.
• Oversee divisional administration including budgets, analytics, and workforce coordination.
• Coordinate cross‑functional programmes with internal departments and external partners.
• Prepare management papers, trackers and executive‑level presentations for stakeholders.
