Job summary

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline.

• Develop and implement security operations, workflows, policies and procedures, SOPs, contingency plans and communications protocols.
• Oversee integration of technology-enabled security solutions and ensure readiness of CCTV and carpark monitoring systems.
• Coordinate security systems monitoring, maintenance, incident reporting and investigations.
• Manage carpark operations, access control, visitor management and stakeholder engagement with internal and external parties.
• Provide secretariat support for meetings and coordinate cross-functional security initiatives.
• Lead and develop security staff, support ORAT efforts and collaborate across departments to build integrated security operations.

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive individual to join our team in Security Services. You will support the planning and development of security operations, systems and programmes to ensure a safe, secure and conducive environment for patients, visitors and staff. Key responsibilities include developing security and carpark workflows, policies and procedures, standard operating procedures, contingency plans and communications protocols, as well as supporting the integration of technology-enabled security solutions, with operational readiness of systems including CCTV and carpark monitoring, and command and control capabilities. You will also support current site security operations including the coordination and oversight of security systems monitoring and maintenance, security incident reporting and investigation, carpark management, incident management, access control, visitor management and stakeholder engagement with both internal and external parties. You will provide secretariat support for meetings and coordinate cross-functional initiatives and support even security planning and operations requirements to strengthen security governance, operational readiness and service delivery.

The role encompasses strategic planning responsibilities, including supporting the development of work instructions, security frameworks, risk assessments, business continuity plans, contract management, and manpower and resource planning. You will play a pivotal role in supporting staff capability development including training and onboarding of security officers and team. Over time, you will progress to leading, developing and inspiring teams to achieve operational excellence. A key aspect of this position involves fostering a security-conscious and service-oriented culture that contributes to a safe and welcoming environment for patients, visitors and staff. The role also includes supporting the hospital's Operational Readiness, Activation and Transition (ORAT) efforts and collaborate across departments to establish a robust and integrated security operations and systems from the ground up.

Requirements

• Preferably Bachelor's degree in related discipline


• Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience in supervisory/management capacity with planning and operations in security related industry


• Healthcare environment experience will be an advantage


• Good working knowledge of common office software applications


• Knowledge and skill in design thinking, change management, project management, strategic planning, systems testing and implementation, technology adoption and process methodologies will be preferred


• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage various stakeholders in a fluid environment and a growing organisation with multi-generational staff


• Teamplayer, highly motivated and action-oriented with excellent planning, analytical and critical thinking skills


• Ability to work independently and under pressure, adapt to change and manage challenges in a fast-paced healthcare environment
